Pamalican island is deserted 40 mins off Bohol by boat, where water is sacred, soil were poor, everything from the island are shipped from the mainland, still it’s a place that can homegrow banana and squash, which were our main meal in our dishes. Fish? No kidding, our host kept on asked us what we wanted for lunch, we wondered why he was anxious and thought perhaps he needed time to inform the next boat from the island what to bring, no no no, 5 mins after we announced we want to try whatever local fresh fish there is, we saw our owner with a fish spear heading to the sea. That’s how fresh our fish were!

Enjoy our Pamalican Island food diary! It’s one of my favorite meal in Bohol! Everything so natural!

I still have so much memories to share from the Philippines- food, places to go, Bohol guide, and I haven’t even get to Manila and Makati yet! Learning how to write bilingual post faster is my current homework, I’ll be sure to do a review by the end of the year how this goes.
The Philippines is really such a nice place for a getaway trip in Asia, I’ve came across photos and posts of more than 5 above friends visiting Bohol, Borocay, Cebu, Coron, Palawan this year already! Don’t miss out this hidden gem in Asia!

Makati!

    are those fried bananas??

    • Reply Tiff September 10, 2016 at 00:49

Yup they are, but different than the Thai fried bananas. I think Thai fried bananas top with dense milk?

It’s a nice place to visit for vacay, and if you are into diving it’s one of the place to go in Asia.
Haha, perhaps the freshest fish I’ve ever eaten in my life now!

Awesome, this is simply the best way to eat fish! It looks fantastic! Sometimes you don’t need much else than some fresh catch and homegrown fruits to be in food haven right? 😉

    • Reply Tiff September 10, 2016 at 00:52

Absolutely yes! Homegrown fruits and food fresh off the sea by natural are the best haven brings!
